Webswell Connect 2
Webswell
Connect 2 is a complex business integration framework based on ebXML
and AS2 standards. Implementing the Connect solution, client gets ready for
e-business transactions with the partners that support ebXML and/or AS2 communication.
Have a look at how it works.
Webswell Connect 2 contains the following components:
- EbXML Registry and Repository (EbXMLRR)
The EbXMLRR provides valuable support for storage and processing of XML data. Exploiting the cataloging and classification features the user get very efficient tool for content-based and metadata-based searches. In Webswell Connect 2, the EbXMLRR is also used as a storage of CPA documents that govern the communication between the partners.
- Message Service Handler (MSH)
The MSH is responsible for transmitting business documents between
communicating parties. The documents can be sent using ebXML or AS2
messaging. It supports robust security and reliability features. The
communication can be secured by ssl, encryption and can be digitally
signed to provide non-repudiation feature. The features like
acknowledgments, duplication elimination, retries etc. are implemented
as well.
Webswell Dispatcher is responsible for EbXML and AS2 message composition and decomposition. It implements the CPPA standard. Webswell Dispatcher closely cooperates with the MSH (it controls sending and receiving of the messages).
The Application Connector is a module that provides the interface between customer's existing applications and other components of the Connect 2 framework.
